The village of Fonte Vetriana is located in the Comune di Sarteano in southern Tuscany, 2 hours north of Rome and 1.5 hours south of Florence.

Arriving from Florence or Rome on the A1 Motorway Naples-Milano, exit at Chiusi-Chianciano and follow the signs to Sarteano (7 km from Motorway exit). Once in the centre of Sarteano, follow the signs for San Casciano dei Bagni; 1 km later bear right towards Radicofani on the SP 478. Three km on you will pass the Spineto Abbey on your right, and very shortly afterwards you bear to the left at the indication for Fonte Vetriana.
